There appears an ad area in each of the main windows of SoftBattery's sharewares
SeriCon, TransPad and dwTerm, unless the user has a full license key. If the
PC is off line, the program reads defad.txt in the program's folder and displays
the images specified in the file. If you are going to advertize, you may check
if your images apears well on the program, easily by modifying defad.txt and
running the program. At a glance you may recognize how to modify: Each line
means an image file name and the time (in 0.5 sec) except the last line meaning
the advertizer's url. The characters * and & are just delimitters.
The every image size should be 310 x 60 in pixels. After testing the "slide show" off line, send the file and images to
webmaster@softbattery.net, to
advertize. If accepted, an invoice will be
sent to you by way of PayPal. After payment, you (and users) will see the slide
show on line.
The freeware F2F displays in a different way. The program opens a html
file by the user's browser, in which the second frame shows f2f.htm from
SoftBattery. To advertize, write and send your f2f.htm and files for it to
webmaster@softbattery.net.
It may contain various texts and images (gif as well
as jpg).
Advertizing during 7 days costs 80 USD on SeriCon, 50 USD on F2F,
50 USD on TransPad, and 20 USD on dwTerm. Since paid, the period will start after
1 day plus saturday, sunday and vacations. The nearest vacation will be noticed
here in advance.
